It is your responsibility to verify that any contractor you hire holds the license and insurance required for the work in your area before they start. Ask to see it — a legitimate contractor won't mind.
Any quote, scheduling, payment, warranty, or dispute about the actual repair is strictly between you and the contractor. We are not a party to that agreement and can't resolve billing or workmanship disputes — though if something goes wrong, tell us, because we stop referring contractors who burn homeowners.
